Over the weekend, Zoo website have shown their support for National Chip Week 2010 by encouraging readers to vote for their perfect portion! We have currently have almost 18,000 votes and Zoo's encouragement should bring in even more so best of luck to all the fish and chip shops involved!
Don't forget there are still ten more days before the deadline so make sure you make your vote count!

With well over 8,000 nominations received in less than 10 days of voting in the Perfect Portion Awards, 2010 promises to be a record year of voting for your favourite local chippy. The Chippy's from the very 'Heart' of the country, the Midlands, are dominating the race so far with Sharkers in first place, followed closely by B My Chip in second and Chris's Fish n' Chips in third place. Competition is running very high this year and it is still anyone's race.
